But would that have been easy back 14ish years ago for diamond and pearl? Wouldn't most who watched it "live" have been pretty young. I mean I'm 25 and that still puts me back in primary school when it was airing. Plus as far as i can remember its only ever been like a 4 month delay on english episodes since D&P and only like 8 months in seasons before that
Also its more about the fact most people would likely have seen 100s of episodes of pokemon in their native version, so to switch just seems so crazy to me. I could never imagine watching a show i've seen hundreds of epsiodes of and then suddenly having all of it change to another language. The characters wouldn't be themselves to me anymore.
>>44137307Yeah 99% likely would have first seen it locally in dub and then gone sub. But unless you got into pokemon very late and basically switched ASAP without seeing too much dub i can't imagine it not being weird as fuck to switch over.
