I thought Klara was a fun character, and I thought the map was cool with how it essentially connected all around to itself. Fuck I'm too high for this. Anyways, I thought the Kubfu quest was pretty retarded, Urishifu is THAT great, and it was way too short for a paid dlc imo. I thought the post-story interactions and little things you can do was kind of funny. I think (and hope) Crown Tundra is going to be significantly better though

So why does everyone love Urshifu?
It's got 97 speed so it'll get outspeed, and it's Sp Defence is 60, it dies in one hit from any actual good Pokemon, and probably gets outsped too.

Is it's attack decent? Sure, it'll get one attack, maybe even none, what a pointless Pokemon.

I stopped doing the story stuff in isle of armor as soon as I got water type Urshifu. I have strong hatred for Hop and Avery. I'm not even gonna gigantimax my Urshifu. I hate Avery because he replaced Klara and Hop is annoying to the point that I'm keeping him in the forest so he won't catch Zacian. I caught Zamazenta and I'm ignoring Hop and Avery unless those annoying fuckers lock me out of crowned tundra events.

Gigamax soup is nice to have, cheaper vitamins are nice to have.
1% rate for johto balls is bullshit.
0.1% rate for sports ball is fucking gay.
overall the dlc is only decent if you play VGC completely useless otherwise

1st DLC is ok. I adds some neat things and I do like the Wild Area way more than the main game one. Storyline was kinda ass, with Mustard and Honey carrying it. Pokemon being added really saved the DLC. Part 2 really has to knock it out of the park to make it worth the $30.

He’s still young so hopefully TPC and Gamefreak’s management don’t crush his spirits and kill his passion too quickly. IIRC he only started at Gamefreak during Sun and Moon’s development and his initial job was just directing the cutscenes, and a few short years later he’s directing the series’ first ever DLC. He’s clearly got the drive to climb higher and get to the point where he can be in charge of a game, so hopefully they actually recognise that devotion and talent rather than snuffing it out so the guys already in charge don’t have to face any competition.

Good. IoA is nice to explore with diverse locations and returning Pokemon is nice to see in higher resolution. It sucks because it's behind a pay wall. Though I am excited to see what crown tundra will offer, truly am. Around this time I got a bunch of different shinies and if it weren't for the dlc offering more options I probably wouldn't have like over 100 shinies to this day.

A lot of things were handled significantly better in IoA than the base game. Notably at least for me, is when they finally stop holding your hand for once and let you explore the isle on your own volition for max Mushrooms, even though it's locked to one area for those specific mushrooms, I still had to explore to find where it was. No teleporting, nothing else. Also mustards fight was legitmately good, unless you were using level 100 mons like a pussy he is some what tough, I'm surprised he managed to take a couple of my mons first try. I wish it did scale of your level though, then things would be really interesting. Also yes the kubfu quest is absolute dog shit, and the play time of the entire dlc is so fucking short it's not even worth it at the moment unless you want some good new moves or returning Pokemon or shiny hunt new dens. Regardless, I sincerely hope that crown tundra does this better. Another thing, IoA doesn't have random trainers. Stupid.

Honestly though the biggest fun I've had so far are trying to get into hacked raids. I love the DLc has woken up the game again enough to where trying to do raids is actually fun again cause who doesnt want a Zarude or shiny doggo? I'm excited for tundra if ppl love this small dlc so much.

Also I just want even more DLC instead of new games, just keep expanding this game for 5 years with even more regions, like instead of Sinnoh remakes, just have a DLC where we travel to Sinnoh.

Shoula been in the main game. Story was fucking short. Avery wasn't as bad as i thought, but he's barely there. The wild area HERE was so much better in the main game,it's what the BASE game wild area shoulda been. I love that they brought back the walking with your feature, but it's sadly for the Isle of armor(idk if Crown Tundra will have it or add it to the main game). I love Mustard and Honey,though! Overall, it's not bad,but the Crown Tundra better be fucking worth it. 6/10, too fucking short and the walking feature only being in the Isle of Armor.

It was...fine. I'd say it was short but honestly it was about the size I expected for a 15 bucks dlc.

The only things I really missed was trainers to fight, the island is a nice map I don't know why they didn't put some trainers here and there in the cave and the forest.

The other thing I missed was some sort of exciting encounter, like a legacy champion or elite four.

Also, they pretty much spoiled the whole thing, so there was no surprises at all, that was kind of dissapointing.

But pretty much matched my expectations
