Dusk lycanroc, i always felt like something was missing when i played pokemon sun i didn't like the final evolutions for any of the starters and during the story i used my snorlax most of the time because the z move was great,

But when ultra sun came out dusk lycanroc made me buy the game, midday was too simple midnight was too edgy but dusk was perfect, so i got the game and i kept soft reseting until the event guy gave me a jolly own tempo rockruff , that rockruff felt way more like a starter than the actual starters and i still remember when we beat olivia's lycanroc, also when we got cap pikachu on our team and when we caught a random shiny fletchling at the volcano that later evolved to talonflame during the fight against the elite 4, now that talonflame is in sword and shield 2 and it helps hatching eggs for all my masuda method hunts

Based. My fondest memory is using him on my bw2 team as a kid. I caught a marill in driftveil city (or just outside of it, I don’t remeber) and it evolved instantly. I instantly fell in love with it (not in a pokephilic way, I’m not one of those anons) and kept it on my team throughout the rest of the playthrough. It became my favorite Pokémon and he’s sitting in Pokémon home right now. Once I got into competitive I used him on every team that he’s allowed on. (nothing below OU) He is a good lad
