Literally every cat looks super long and tall when you hold it upright like that, and that's what they were going for considering the theme behind Gmax designs are "thing but bigger". They were going for "a long cat" being held upright, but they weren't going for "longcat". The resemblance is there, but /vp/ sure does let "memes" live rent free in their head where unnecessary.
Also hangry isn't a condition, it's literally just being irritable/angry, but with a specified reason, in this case being hungry.
