Depends on the Scizor set.
Mag usually runs around 128 speed ev's where band Scizor usually doesn't run any.
I've tanked a superpower and ko'd a scizor with thunderbolt before.

Because before now Scizor lost to Magnezone no matter what. You just slapped a scarf on it and smashed your face into HP Fire. But now? That isn't a thing, anyone going full HP Scizor in this gen is an idiot. They are legitimately asking for Magnezone to dab on them.

Even HP invested Scizor gets away from Magnezone, you need a turn to set up Body Press and Scizor is just going to U-Turn the fuck out the second it sees Mag if it's worried it can't outrun it. It fails to OHKO with thunderbolt.

Scizor doesn't appreciate thunderbolt, especially since it isn't running bulk.
It's not as reliable as it was with hp fire but Zone can still remove Scizor if positioned correctly.

Both of the sets you posted are slower than Scizor. Magnezone is either going to get outright murdered by Superpower, crippled by Superpower and then Scizor will run if it has a Chople, or Scizor will just safely U-Turn out from the start.

Let's not pretend that there's a standard Scizor set that people are using these days.
If positioned correctly Zone can chunk or kill many Scizor sets, I've done it.

I'm not saying it's impossible but we can play scenarios all day man. The point is Magnezone is at an inherent disadvantage now and it's odds of trapping and killing a Scizor require a lot of luck.
