>>44138265Here's my list of improvements.
- Increase your walking speed. If not for the bike I'd be even more annoyed at how slow movement is.
- Let me rename pokemon that have been traded to me that already have nicknames. I don't want to see anymore BARACK ABOMASNOWs or JohnCenaroars. And I hate that I can't rename the ones in foreign languages.
- Try to make the game actually look like it belongs on Switch. I get that SwSh was their first try and the game looks alright in portable mode, but on a 60 inch HD TV, its graphics really don't hold up well compared to other Switch games.
It should also try to tell a cohesive narrative that follows through on the story and characters it establishes early on. The whole Rose and Eternatus plot felt very tacked on at the end and many characters arcs went nowhere or had very little payoff.
- Utilize the gym leaders more. Gen 8 had good concepts of characters and good designs, but they're mostly limited to whatever you learn about them from their league cards and that's it.
- Improve NPC AI and pokemon used for Max Raid Battles. That way if there are connection issues, a player can still successfully complete raids.
- Make routes less linear. And if the Wild Area returns, make it more like IoA's, where it has more diverse environments that flow like more natural ecosystems.
- If challenger uniforms return, let me wear my own selected clothes during matches if I choose to do so.
- Maybe include partial voice acting like Danganronpa or Persona.
