Trekking through mount coronet, confronting the leader of the team thats given you so much trouble in the atmospheric spear pillar, then getting sucked into the fucking abyss to battle a wicked looking pokemon. These moments capture that feeling of adventure better than any other pokemon game ever has. The dialogue is sufficient to support that, while being generally interesting. Sure, if you autistically dissect it you'll find the writing isn't winning any fucking awards, but that isn't the point of dialogue in pokemon games, and none of the dialogue in other gens is any better anyway.
