Why don't Pokémon fans care about good map design? The amount of people that (rightfully) shit on the newer games for having barebones routes, lacklustre locations and minimal dungeons are very few.
Would Pokémon fans be completely satisfied if the games were just a bossrush that took place on a menu-based map? Because that seems to be the case.
