>>44145995You're looking at things as A, B, C, and D are obviously too strong for for the other letters that live in RU, and I'm calling out the decisionmaking that's leading to RU's inhabitants consisting of those letters in the first place. For example, just looking at the reasoning outlines
>In a tier sorely lacking in viable Steel- and Fairy-types, 135 Special Attack Draco Meteors are evidently difficult to deal with. That's a tier population problem.
>Ninetales on its own is considered problematic due to the shifts in the metagame>the rise of Snorlax to UU has left balances that are more susceptible to it without one of the best available counter to itThose are tier population problems.
I mean, they even outright say here
>As we noted in the Ninetales reasoning, it's important to note that those bans might be reversed in the near future, depending largely on how drastic the upcoming tier shift is going to be for the RU tier. Still, the importance of the RU Open forced our hand this month, and we won' t hesitate to act again if something becomes dangerously unbalanced in the following weeks. So as usual, please keep the discussion going!that this is just to cater to a tourney and it could be reversed. How do you not see the issue I'm talking about?
>>44146032I can't foresee every chain event but I can predict pretty well that there'll be less Fire usage and more anti-Fire considerations. Alolan Marowak and Volcarona will be looked upon less as Magearna answers and more as threats themselves. It also remains to be seen what they'll do about Urshifu if anything.
