>>44151940>If theres no margin for error then the game becomes boring and stale. And you can achieve this without RNG and currently doing that just fine without spamming Double Team.
In fact, you can achieve it if Missing, Paralysis, Freezes, Confusion, ect. were all removed and rebalanced.
There still exists uncertainty without RNG.
You don’t reveal your EVs without intense Math.
You only reveal your moves when you use them.
You don’t reveal your item until its used or removed.
You can swap out Pokemon even you would like.
There are 890+ Pokemon with dozens of moves and multiple forms to keep track of.
There is no doubt that “Margin of Errors” will happen in Pokemon regardless of a mechanic where a computer decides to just fuck you over without telling you that it will.
And why does keeping “margin of error” keep the game from being boring?
No one in the history of Pokemon has said “man, missing my Fire Blast is so fun GG” sincerely.
You know what has been said before? “My opponent made a good play by switching into his Normal Type into my Ghost type move. Well Played by him.”
Ones frustrating to be on the receiving side while the other is getting outplayed by someone doing well.
