Many people are against it and some go far as to say that it is "immoral." Verlisify is one of the notorious people in the community who is so against it that he dedicated some of his videos to this regard.

It's immoral if you distribute, trade off, or use anything you created illegitimately competitively. To do so cheapens the efforts of people who got it the legitimate way. It's cheating, plain and simple. Oh and before you come at me with torches and pitchforks? I don't honestly care what people do, I've used injected dittos and shit before and asked for gold bottle caps and junk in inject threads. I'm just giving you the honest answer, I just don't mind cheating on rare occasion personally.

If you play an MMO and cheat to get money, thus hurting the economy for all the legitimate players who are playing the game to earn and spend money, is that not completely selfish and at least somewhat immoral?
Same concept applies to Pokémon. Pokémon are a commodity or a currency, they have value based on supply and demand just like MMO money and items. If you inject you're basically printing your own money and destroying the supply half of supply and demand.

There is nothing bad or immoral about pkhex some people may develop "feelings" for their pokemon like how anyone else may develop a kinship for an object they've had for a long time(myself included) however is it bad or immoral to buy a shirt rather than going out and making your own? No, PkHex simply allows for a more efficient development of pokemon as well as adding a new medium for experienced players who enjoy pokemon but are kinda tired with the medium( mono-ghost team with baby giratina perhaps?) the only thing that is hurt by injecting pokemon is the whole concept of collecting pokemon since you have immedate access to every pokemon in the game and the concept or "rarity" doesn't exist. Someone like myself whose already gone through the arduous process of "collect them all!" shouldn't have to care because from that point of its just a numbers game.
