Trust me this is so much better than sinnoh. In sinnoh it only appears in 4 tiles and it changes daily. In hoenn gen 3 it appears in 6 tiles and it does not change unless you change it so you can always go back to the same location and fish for more if you want to (if you lazy breed)

This makes me wonder, it changes daily so it must make use of the battery in the game cart, assuming you're not emulating. The battery is required for daily events like berrys, lottery, etc. Would the Feebas location never change if your battery is dead?

It does not change daily in hoenn. It only changes daily in sinnoh. The tiles will always be fixed unless you change the trendy phase in dewford or mix record with others
