Trying to be original and not going the easy way by giving it 100 extra bst or huge power, i’m gonna say swapping their hidden abilities. Amoonguss gets rain dish and shiinotic gets regenerator.
Amoongus would be the doubles pokemon and shiinotic would be more usable in singles, even if its not OU

It can never be better than amoonguss unless you give it a broken gimmick like >>44150820 prankster spore. Grass/poison is the better defensive typing, regenerator is the better ability. Lets just hope they never decide to give amoonguss strength sap.

Give it Rage Powder, Regenerator, and a large buff to HP (buff it to 110) or greatly increase its speed (buff it to 80). Either it's Amoonguss, but different typing, or it's a fast Spore. As it stands it's Amoonguss, but without the utility.

Take that 90 SpA and switch it with its speed stat. It's now the fastest Spore user in the game.
It already has great support moves with Pollen Puff, Spore, Strength Sap, and Spotlight (GF just needs to bring that move back).
