The whole Pokémon franchise, the biggest franchise on the whole fucking planet has made $90 billion, give or take a few million, that’s an equal share of around $30 billion. Stop defending the games being a fucking let down, why is it okay to laugh at how bad Town was but giving Pokémon the same shit is bad? At least Town has the excuse of being a new idea, Pokemon has had 20 years to hone its ideas and for some reason got worse after Gen 5 because the creators have 0 faith in their own games.
Asking for more effort for a $50 game made by a very wealthy company isn’t entitled, it’s expected. Gen 8 was fucking awful, Pokémon won’t die if you say it was shit, it’ll make them put more effort into it, thats how things get better by definition.
