It was also the first third version after almost a decade. Let's say that, while the time they released the game was absolutely bullshit, the game itself wasn't as bad as SM (so they actually improved) and had quite a few things geared towards older players.
It's no masterpiece, but even USUM is a godsend compared to the shitfest SwSh is, no wonder people started to feel like a wicked nostalgia for it at this point.
