The racismons look like they have a lot more fast and offensive capability with 2 great pivots in Chantruth and Marelyzard. And the food line in turn has great defensive pokemon like Spaghefant, Potarded, and Mozzamazel. With a fantastic late game sweeper in Oreon. The tipping point is that a Racism run would have accesses to a legendary in Jewipede. But other than it it comes down to preference in playstyle

Well If you don't like the starters my suggestion for good grass type is Clovour, Krookling or Deloris.

If you already used the manatee and want something different, how about Substarr, damn thing hits pretty hard with Water Bubble.

Draconius can be used as both an physical or special attacker, it has reliable recovery in roost, boosting move on calm mind pretty good stabs in Boomburst and Dragon Pulse and a shitton of coverage and very good abilities in Pure Power, Intimidate and Natural Cure.

Not really, your best option is to cheat
I suggest the usual no encounters plus walk through walls, but you'll have to carry around a few mons levelled to 100 with rare candies because battle triggers can be in unexpected places

PKHeX/HaX is fine, but the devs had to alter how mon's data is saved to make up space for hidden abilities, so expect a few things to not work properly

A few bosses get literally walled by it (a few route masters, carlito 1&2, one of the E4), but aside from that it's still a solid mon with a surprisingly high attack stat
That said i think i'll bring one with me in NG+, but with one of the alternative abilities

Designs are pretty much hit or miss, but they, unlike official Pokémon designs have an even typing spread, thing they fucked up with their incremental approach at adding mons to the roster.
Anyways many of them grow on you. Mons like Fireshi, Hazmate or Honrade are better than many Gen 8 designs.

I appreciate the balance of the game, but the fact that it runs on the Gen3 engine makes me instinctively expect Hoenn or Kanto mons. Out of the 380+ designs, there are less than 30 that would hold a candle in that regard.

I have to apologize, i was under the impression that payday had a cap of five uses per battle. Since that's not an issue anymore then bringing a lvl 100 mon with terrible attack (think tarditank) into grindhaus will net you a maximum of 64000 dollarydoos before having to restore pp, at a rate of 6k per minute (before emulator speedup)
6k per minute would be on par with running a compoundeyes thief mon in rock tunnel and averaging two chompest encounters per minute once you factor in menuing for item collection

Do the pirate sidequest, catch one of the Lv. 90+ Oogaboogas and wondertrade it until you get a Blobbos. Then feed it rare candies until it gets to level 100.
