California is the easiest to do (but they’ve already done Pokewood). California doesn’t need shoehorned changes in climate like it did in Alola and Galar. Throw a Golden Bear legendary in there, something about Redwood trees/ Sequoias, some militant environmentalists, and you’re golden (pun intended).

I’d be down with Mexico. Would be interesting to see any of the Aztec mythological references they could throw in while trying to keep it G-rated

Uhh... have you ever been to california? The state varies from endless deserts to snow-capped mountains to dense forests to grassy hills. Even the beaches drastically change depending on where in the state you are.
