Didn’t something get built there in GSC? Or am I thinking about the radio tower in lavender town?

Does anybody remember if they made a callback to this in Unova with the Timburr line? I feel like they were very possibly designed with this specific Machop in mind considering they’re basically a construction themed Unovan equivalent to the Machamp line.

It's so based how they keep making references to this machop with a job
I did play heart gold, and saw the machoke moving boxes, but the construction site wasn't finished.
I also saw the machoke moving boxes in ORAS

It's pretty soulful that they keep giving the machop line instances of jobs.
It really makes the world feel cohesive, like humans and pokemon are living alongside, when some pokemon have jobs. It's just like the real world; messenger pigeons, dogs which herd sheep, horses which transport people and goods, and those animals at sea world whose job it is to entertain people.

Probably because theres like 5 games where you go to kanto, and all 3 gen 1 remakes never add anything significant.

Its really cool how the game opens up when you beat surge, though idk if they made the game more linear for lgpe.

Newer games should stop forcing dialogue and just focus on world building and exploring.

I liked it better when pokemon memes were about a specific battle or location instead of some bad writing.
