Noivern is a bit of a hard case, but its use of sound evokes modern flight, and its design suggests air and flight in many other ways. Whismur, maractus, Audino, Tympole, Politoed, Meloetta, Kriketot, Woobat, and Chatot all form a strong identity for the type and really need it to make sense. Bronzong on the other hand is only based on a bell—it doesn’t necessarily display an affinity with sound; same goes for wailmer which is just based on a traditionally resonant thing. Their being sound type misses the point. I don’t really understand sunflora being sound type other than feeling that it might be nice for it to have a unique type. The oricorios dance in sympathy with elements in use of sound but are not empowered by Sound as an element in the format of Ice of Fire. Garchomp should be Sound/Dragon, Piloswine Sound/Ice
