Its the fucking pants. They're so ugly. Purple cargo pants that are only baggy at the ankle and bright blue jeans(?) that are also baggy only at the ankle. Just lower the crotch or tighten the ankle. And maybe give Red's shoes soles.

Blur's outfit looks way better. The other two are admittedly downgrades but gen 3 Red works better with pokemon's established aesthetic. old Red looks like an ordinary person from the real world, gen 3 Red looks like a kid who was raised in an alien society
