Hello, I'm the worst villain in history of Pokemon.
I literally wanted to cancel a match because there's a problem going to happen 10 thousands years from now even though the match has nothing to do with energy or Eternatus lol

But that doesn't actualy end up mattering since Leon fails, Rose fails, you fail. Literally everyone that could possibly have helped against Eternatus failed, only the wolves managed to take it down.

Technically he did it, saying in the screen where everybody would look at, what he is exactly doing. He didn't fail at all, he unleashed Eternatus and asked Leon to come there. He wasn't ashamed of it, like if it was a failure for him, he gone completely mad he was sure to do the right thing.

At least Lysandre had the excuse of being insane. He had a messiah complex due to his heritage and industrial success. He thought the only solution to the problem of overpopulation and an increasing amount of selfish people was by wiping the slate clean and starting over. Meanwhile, Rose was both stupid and impatient. He could proceeded with his plan and no one would've mind if he just waited for one game. Both are terrible characters, but Rose was far more retarded.

Lysandre thinks paying him money makes you a chosen person, which makes no sense when he an kill everyone and take the money from their charred corpses.

This. It's pretty standard in these sort of plot lines for money to decide it, not necesarily because the person behind it is looking to profit but because it's an easy way to thin the herd and because the villain often equates wealth with usefulness to society.

Regardless of whether or not you justify that inconsistency Lysandre's execution as a character was still shit. But he was still better than Rose in pretty much every way.
