>>44174338That doesn't happen. Parasect is defined by the parasitic fungus taking over. It spreads spores to their eggs and intends to grow on them for life, taking energy from the Paras until it grows strong enough to completely take over its motor functions.
However, that isn't to say that there couldn't be a version where the parasitic fungus is removed altogether. We bizarrely saw this happen in the anime when Ash and friends were at Mt. Moon. Bright lights in the caves, which bother the cave-dwelling Paras and the dark and damp preferring fungus, caused the creatures to become confused. As a result, they began plucking the mushrooms from their own backs and stuck them on the ground. I would be curious to see what would happen to a Paras if it were raised in a well-lit environment.
