Gen 5 is the first unquestionable break from the trend, with Iris being version exclusive until BW2 filled the void properly.
Gen 6 comes down to your definition of Valerie, gen 7 kinda has 3, and gen 8 has 3... but Bea and Melony are version exclusive, and you can't have the trio on one game.
