That seems to be a pretty well-documented and not that rare type of unconditional love.
I can never know for sure obviously, but I'm pretty sure my parents love me unconditionally for example. They'd always be in my corner when it counts, in that "the murderer's mother buried the body" kind of way, even if I hurt them.
They'd get mad with me, sure, but you can get mad at someone and still love them, right?
I'm not sure how much that applies to other types of love tho.
Romantic love for example seems to be pretty conditional a lot of the time - it's been very marketplace-y in the past with arranged marriages, and in the modern day it continues to be with dating apps.
