>Blue
Charizard, Nidoking, Victreebel, Dugtrio, Kabutops, Articuno
>Silver
I don't remember much about my team in Silver. I have vague memories of Typhlosion, Onix, and Dunsparce, but nothing else.
>Sapphire
Sceptile, Aggron, Salamence, Regice, Kyogre, Banette; later Blaziken, Aggron, Salamence, Metagross, Kyogre, Tyranitar
>LeafGreen
Currently doing a monopoison run. Planning for Venusaur, Nidoking, Tentacruel, Gengar, Muk or Weezing depending on what I need, and Golbat/Crobat. This'll be my second time doing a monopoison run in LeafGreen, but it's one of my favourite monotype runs and Kanto has such a wide range of really good 'mons with the poison type that I never get bored.
>Platinum
Empoleon, Staraptor, Roserade, Garchomp, Gallade, Weavile; Gallade and Roserade ended up being pretty bad, and I wish I had gone with Toxicroak and either Tangrowth or an electric type instead.
>HeartGold
Typhlosion, Slowbro, Heracross, Magneton, Fearow, Piloswine, and a Nidoking in reserve; Heracross and Magneton basically carried the entire run for me, and Piloswine was an absolute MVP against Lance, and it evolved into Mamoswine right after dealing the final blow to Aerodactyl to win the league. Absolute fucking bros. Fearow was replaced with Dragonite for Kanto and Red.
>Black
Samurott, Chandelure, Galvantula, Scrafty, Ferrothorn. At various points I'd swap Ferrothorn out for Bisharp, or Scrafty out for Krookodile, and I was trying to raise a Hydreigon to be my permanent sixth man, but it was around this time I was getting bored of Pokemon so I never tried very hard.
>Black 2
Emboar, Lucario, Sandslash, and I think I may have been angling for making Muk and Leavanny my 4th and 5th, but I gave up halfway through and haven't touched either Unova games since.
Looking back on it, I think I was too hard on Gen 5 when I was playing it for the first time, and I'd like to revisit them one day to see if I get more out of them now than I did back then.
