Also, I'm going to guess the only reason it was even used enough to get into RU in the first place is because some low ladder shitters tried to use it on Rising Voltage spam teams before realizing how awful it is.

It has only two posible sets, Intimidate pivot with Volt Switch and wall breaker with guts, but Wild Charge + burn kill him before it can break anything and his special attack is too low to deal any damage with volt switch.

Half the Pokedex, including nearly all of the legendaries and half the late bloomers, aren't even in the game yet. Right now 95 is considered a "fast" Pokemon. Once everything is in game, and has access to new TMs and TRs we're going to see power creep like you wouldn't believe. Consider Gyarados, for example. In gen 7 you could wall a Gyarados with a bulky water. It could at most hit you with a thunderbolt off of its low special attack; basically you were fine. This gen Gyarados got Power Whip, a 120BP physical grass move. Now if you switch a bulky water into Gyarados, it could just KO you. We have no idea what other Pokemon are going to get huge upgrades like that, but the fact they gave it out once suggests more will be given out.

Legendaries and UB's are coming back in the next DLC.
Megas aren't, but I honestly wouldn't put it past GF to put out a 3rd DLC where they do come back.

Not really. Once Crown Tundra drops and adds in all the new legendaries and things it plans to introduce, you'll almost need to buy Crown Tundra or trade with someone who has it to stay competitive. IoA opened up a few thinks itself, though those don't seem widely used in ranked, at least not yet. Are people having trouble adjusting to the new mons, or do things like Skarmory, Talonflame, and Volcarona and the like just not see much play for reason.

The new mons I feel like I see the most are Urshifu, Lycanroc, and Alolan Marowak.

Cresselia, Heatran, and Lando-T are coming back in Crown Tundra. I kinda forgot they were legends because they're not restricted.
Mega Kang isn't confirmed to be coming back and probably won't be, but "probably" isn't "definitely".
