Anit-Soul. The antithesis of all things that made the originals so good. These are so anti-soul they will make even the biggest of pokefans cringe at the mere mention of whatever the fuck the name of that fire-weasal-waifu thing is...
Seriously they should have stopped years ago. The franchise has jumped the shark. I would be happy if all they did was HD remakes of Gen 1 until the end of all time and maybe Gens 2-5 as well.

I play no pokemon over 10% higher than the next gym leader's highest mon. So yeah I think it's the hardest one to nuzloke. Specifically the part between Jasmine(or is it flannery? The fire lady with the torkoal), Norman, and (whats the flying ladies name again?) with the tropius and the Altaria.
I still havn't beaten Emerald nuzloke desu but if you think one is harder let me know

It's Flannery and Winona. I've Nuzlocked every game in the series and I'd say either Platinum or B2W2 are harder. Only memorable fight in terms of difficulty for me were Brawly and that's just me having unfortunate luck with no encounters being able to counter Fighting Types

I remember my first time playing Crystal in the 10th grade on an ipod touch.
It was fucking awesome!
You're just jelous cuz you grew up with gen 1/2 but then had to settle for worse games as you grew older but I played gen 4 as a kid (so it was automatically cool) then I discovered the better games as I grew older ensuring me entertainment from the Pokemon franchise for years
Also infername is badass! I always pick the fire started and always call em "Anon Jr."

You want to know a truly difficult game to Nuzlocke? Try Ultra Sun/Moon or Colosseum.
