if ice types get freeze dry, scald should be SE against ice

you're effectively making ice weak to water, thus making ice even worse defensively than it already is. ice has enough problems, water can handle a 70 BP move

this is definitely a terrible idea, but what if it was se against ice and the burn chance would be removed and BP would match that of freeze dry (70 i think)
I obviously don't want that, but I want to hear some opinions
I mean who would even run such a move anyway

I agree with OP. I have another idea. What if Knock Off also ignored type resistances. It doesn't really make sense that a move that removes your item has resistances, no Pokemon likes having its item removes. Thus I propose that Knock Off always deals neutral damage unless the Pokemon is weak to Dark in which case it's super effective.

Sky Uppercut should be brought back and changed to be super effective on Flying. Make it a Fighting-type version of Freeze-Dry.
