But yeah, I feel you. It's all preference. I have an LG android phone that I've been able to customize to my liking, so it feels comfortable for me. Though I feel like standalone mp3 players are becoming more popular again lately, people are going for that cool Baby Driver music aficionado style.
That's not the point though, the point was that for better or worse, general smartphones have widely replaced specialized gadgets, and that's why we don't have those cool pokegagets anymore. Just like in real life, enslaving a rotom streamlined everyone's daily carry.
