Facade as "coverage" is unreliable garbage. Why would you hope to play in a way where your opponent statuses you so you can use one a move that doesn't hit anything for SE damage? And without status is way too weak so either way it doesn't make sense. Having to use normal coverage in general is a sign of a barren movepool.

Obviously Facade is great on stuff like Guts abusers but not on fucking Klinklang.

Kommo-o. Gets fucking everything, even the coveted Body Press which barely any Fighting types even get. Kommo-o is the only Fighting type to really be able to use STAB Body Press.

The thing about facade on a steel type is that the only status you can use it with is burn (or paralysis if you hate yourself), so you're investing in a normal type move at expense of literally the rest of your fucking moveset, because you're burned. No steel type has guts, either.

Contrarianism must be a helluva drug if you can rock it in OU for two straight gens (Maybe three if it was legal in its debut gen) with an attacking movepool that is over 90% Grass and Normal.

Gamefreak: lets give it little to no good physical moves, give it a larger special movepool and while were at it, give it plus and minus as its two standard abilities to boosts its base 70 special attack.

Fucking hell who’s the dipshit that thought that this is a good idea, this Pokemon could of been a decent physical sweeper (nothing super competitive but at least a solid pokemon) but no instead they chose to screw it over in the most asinine way possible.
