The spinners in Ruse cruise weren't that bad at all.
You can pretty mostly see where they are going to take you with minimal effort.

Yeah, I love many mons that appear near the endgame and I'm too lazy to adapt them in my team so I just played safe with my non-IV-perfect, not-EV-trained team and surprisingly I'm managing to deal with the most powerful goons quite well.
I haven't felt the need to go full Smogonfag on my team, so I didn't breed anything besides a Shiggydig to catch a Hofucno with.

This is my Ebin team and I have defeated Bavi so far, I'm on my way to traps island.
Traumobra and Flameboyan's sets are too gimmick to work on adventure, I'm considering to replace them with Baitmaster and Honrade or maybe Fairileon.
Also it's funny how Demiwaifu can learn fly.

Words could describe all the happiness you, the developers, have brought me, but unfortunately I don't know them, so i want you to know to the bottom of your heart that the time you have spent creating this masterpiece has never been and will never be in vain: The world can love again, if there is able not to be hurt in the ass

Drop the Blobbo and the Furnazi- They're gonna get raped by Tumblrita. Evolve your Coolcube but don't further evolve it into Fabkube- Stick an eviolite on it for literally the bulkiest Pokemon in the game. And while you're at it, stick aneviolite on your Ignut- It's a great fire type. Nauseon is fine, but it might have problems later as you will have a type overlap with your starter. If you want to evolve it, make sure it has a higher SpA than Attack. Ebolable is much better than the other one.

am I doing it wrong? the pikotton in route 4 should have a 5% chance of holding a light ball, boosted to 20%
I tested 40 of them and not one had it
that is more unlikely than a 1/7000 chance for me to simply have taken too small of a sample size.
although even with a 5% rate it is still less likely than a 1/7 chance I simply got unlucky.
I would have thought those in that route simply don't spawn with it, but I have seen multiple people say that they got one there.

If you want Levitate Venowatt before post-game you'll need to use the Dream Pill on a Static Proboskito. It'll become Toxic Boost then Levitate when it evolves.

It just seem so unlikely that I truly experienced 40 independent 80% events in a row, I am starting to think that there was a reason explicitly coded into the game that my save state immediately before using sweet scent would never bare fruit.
I could imagine this being the case that there is a number generated after a battle, and it determines if the next pokemon encountered can hold an item, or be shiny. So if that number is not in your favor relaxing save states will not help you.
