I think if GF takes five years to make their next game, they might have something.
My ideal Pokemon game would be an upgraded version Unova's setting and story with the gameplay smoothness of Hoenn.
I liked the plot of BW because nuance is always enjoyable, but also seeing as it's a game that'll be a lot of kids' first exposure to story, it'd be helpful to show them less Marvelshit like "morally bankrupt guy vs morally supreme guy". Team Plasma grunts who joined the team out of a genuine desire to see Pokemon free who didn't all just lie about that stuff and walk an awkward line by actually carrying Pokemon (maybe those Sages could speak to Pokemon and could lead them somewhat in battle with a mental bond).
Pokemon settings are usually shit and are tourists' experiences in a popular place, so it'd be nice if there weren't a fucking desert in the middle of NY for some reason and the music had the guts to be jazzy or whatever in cities.
