It was on gen 1, when it was physical and normal types were good.
Giga impact needs to go and Hyper Beam become like those moves that use the highest offensive stat.

It's such an iconic move. Yet it's utter garbage on the Pokemon that used to main users (Aerodactyl, T-tar, Gyarados, Dragonite)

I thought moves that required action (punching, biting, kicking, etc.) were physical moves. I essentially thought the physical/special split was a thing before it was a thing.

I only believed this for like my first playthrough of Emerald (my first Pokémon game) but that somehow status stats being raised or decreased would be kept even when switched/outside of battle until healed at the Pokémon center. So naturally after every Growl that hit me I ran back to the Pokémon Center.
