I feel like significantly more could've been done with this concept. Making the purpose of an entire species that they only exist to be envious of Pikachu is fucking dumb.

Klefki is a terrible execution of a key/lock fairy. Instead of being a a sentient key ring, it should have been some sort of creature that lives inside of locks. It could have been a pest that's responsible for frequent jams in the lock, or a friendly creature who protects homes from intruders.

Thank you. No one ever seems to question how stupid mimikyu is logically. Pokemon have seemed to be around longer than humans, so how the fuck could a species envious of another species loving pikachu exist? And pikachu isnt the mascot of the pokemon world like it is to ours, so how could a pokemon envious of a non existent mascot exist? What's stopping it from seeing a charizard and hating those instead

It’s not like animals or creatures can change over time, right? Dipshit. Mimikyu was around on its own but they’re social creatures. They were unable to socialize in their original form but as Pikachu became household pets they adapted and changed to take on its characteristics.
