Say what you will about Sword and Shield but the mons have great designs. First time I liked more than a just handful of pokemons since the first 3 gens.

I literally have the opposite reaction. I like and enjoy most pokemon designs from gen 1 all the way to 7.

gen 5 was the first time i looked at the designs and said "i dont like these". I came around somewhat (it probably still has the largest ratio of mons i dislike aside from 8) but i straight up hate a decent portion of the gen 8 mon designs
