If you REALLY need a recommendation, pick the one that matches the gens you like the most. Outside of that, SM is the most comfy, the newest gen is full of a lot of great nostalgia bait
minus the shitty Galar episodes, and their whole thing of not showing you hardly any new Pokemon, despite being in the new region, and BW being the "serious" gen, where even Team Rocket became dead serious and succeeded most of their plans or out-keikaku'd Ash's group.
