Take a random unviable Pokémon and give it an evolution, this can be either a normal evolution, mega evolution, or regional evolution.
I’m going with Ledian and giving it a Bug/Fighting type evolution that massively buffs it’s Attack and the rest of its stats outside of SpAtt(because of Minimaxing).

Dunsparce should have been the first Ground/Dragon and gotten a huge Dragon evo either in Gen II or in Gen IV.
Does anyone have the image of that evo I've seen posted a few times?

Torkoal evo. Gets bigger and has ridges on the edge of the shell that makes it look a little bit like a mine cart. Carries a bunch of hot coals on its shell. Fire/Steel. DOES NOT LOOK LIKE AN ACTUAL MINECART, LIKE GAMEFREAK WOULD PROBABLY DO TODAY.
I don't know, buff Special Defense and HP to 90, maybe. Or a bit more to speed, from 20 to 30.
Speed to 30, S.Def and HP to 90 would give a BST of 520, which isn't too unreasonable, is it?

Altaria isn't a fucking Dragon either, your point?
I know what Dunsparce is based off of. It would have been neat to be a Dragon type. God knows Gens I and II needed more of them.
Also Stantler should have been Ghost.

I mean, I do love Dunsparce...and I do like the design...
But it just doesn't feel right to me. It just doesn't really FEEL like Dunsparce. It's a fat goofy worm snake with baby wings. I could maybe see it as a mega with some design changes but I think Dunsparce's design is perfect as it is, and that it's typing is just fine for it.

All Dunsparce really needs is just some small stat boosts like what Masquerain and Pelipper got. He's already got one of the best move pools period; he has Serene Grace Rock Slide for fucks sake. Plus Roost, Glare, and even Coil. He just needs slightly more bulk.

I don't want to use a Dragon, I want to use my Dunsparce, who I fell in love with because of it's goofy design.

I just have always felt like it was the perfect gimmickmon to get a really cool evo. It's so rare it would have been cool to get it, think it's worthless, then through some crazy method evolve it and have a cool 'mon for Lance and his cousin to use.
Too late now, though.
I'll just add it if I ever get around to making my own ROMhack.

Regional Torkoal evolution. Torkoal is now Grass/Fire, evolution (Torblaze) is also Grass/Fire.

Gets boosts to defenses, also some special attack. Since regional forms sometimes move stats around, this Torkoal would be a little faster and less bulky than Hoennian Torkoal.

Design would be an almost bowl shaped shell, filled with sticks/logs that constantly burn Torblaze would look more like a Galapagos tortoise than something like Torterra.

Would be cool as the evo would have a higher bst and a unique type.

They're stupid and really-truly killed the Gen II/IV style cross-gen, and I liked nearly all of the cross-gens.
