>>44228812I would slap Gengar up in "Pseudo Mascot" tier because Gengar has been featured in literally EVERYTHING, has both a Mega and a G-Max Form, was one of the fighters in Pokken, is going to be one of 10 characters in that shitty MOBA game, is outright stated to be "one of the most popular pokemon in Galar" alongside Charizard (which is told to you when you look at the posters in Hop's room), and he has a shitload of appearances in the anime, including a spot in Ash's new team.
Snorlax should also be in "Blatant Kanto Pandering" as he's also gotten a shitload of references and inserts, from an event-exclusive Z-Crystal to a G-Max form that debued as an Event, and that scene in X/Y where they recreate the "Snorlax blocking the path" joke from Gen 1.
Mimikyu should be in P. Mascot tier as it's one of the most pandered pokemon these days.
Piplup should be placed in "Meh" as it's a failed attempt at pandering after everyone hated it in the Anime. Zoroark goes here as well. Gardevoir isn't really a shillmon so I'd personally drop it from the list. Rowlet should be placed in Pandering.
Also, Cinderace's entire line needs it's own tier due to how fucking hard they're pushing it above the other staters of it's gen, it's outright insulting at this point (two signature moves, one of which is just Flare Bltiz+ and the other is a unique mechanic exclusive only to him, his signature move has 50% more power than either of the other starter's signature moves, he's the only one with a signature ability, shitloads of marketing was based around him, Scorbunny was for the longest time the ONLY one of the three in the anime and evolved before Sobble even showed up, Scorbunny debued in Cafe first despite not being the first starter, and he's significantly better than the other two by a wide margin and has a ridiculously good movepool compared to his fellow Starter's meager options).
I wouldn't say he's Charizard Tier, but he should be placed above or below Pikachu.
