Gamefreak do random shit sometimes but the patterns have been mostly consistent since the 90s, GF stick to them more often than not.
I have no stake in this argument at all, I won't pay for Sinnoh remakes regardless of which Gen they come out in. I just don't understand why this argument perpetuates every single gen. And posts that use the phrase 'patternfag' mysteriously all make the exact same talking points and talk in the exact same manner, it makes me think it's the same two or three people behind every one of these posts for the last decade.
