Empoleon, Floatzel, Gastrodon and Lumineon are all new pokemon retard. And you also have previously rare pokemon like Octillery and Mantine you can use. Just because you have shit taste doesn't mean the game doesn't have variety.

That is some absolute bullshit you are spewing. I always like fire in every game I play but Pokemon has the worst use of fire. There are some good fire designs but overall they are very weak designs compared to other types. Which is a shame since fire is a good type. I would wager it is one of the least popular types and with good reason.

Man sinnoh has some of the best route design I swear, especially the post game routes. That one you posted makes such efficient use of it's space to create a deceptively long path with various off shoots for hidden items and shortcuts that reward having HMs on hand while not actually FORCING you to use HMs just to get through.This route isn't even very big but it always takes much longer to clear than expected because of how densely packed it is with layered paths that intertwine. 10/10 music too, this route exemplifies why I love sinnoh at all

It's always weird when people bring up Ponyta for a Fire type you can use in DP. All it has is Ember and Stomp until you get to Veilstone for Fire Blast, since Pt was when they gave it Flame Wheel and actually made it usable for a good chunk of the game. Ponyta is miserable to use in DP.

the on-route trainers aren't supposed to be individually challenging, they're meant to wear down you PP and HP supplies to test your resource management. You can always cheese them by having like 50 full restores at all times but nobody really does that shit, at most I carry like 10 at a time, so I usually make it to the next area with half my pokemon alive with a fraction of their hp left. Tho PP is rarely an issue, and bag storage should be limited to prevent you from cheesing the challenge, so I see your point

Why would i ever return to the wild area? There's no trainer battles and therefore no challenging battles, the only thing there is raids but that's hardly a boon of the wild area itself. All you can do there is battle wild pokemon and farm berries, which you can do in this route too except the berry growing is actually interactive and there's also trainers to rematch. Also>>44236823

No, not really.
It's a fairly strong base mon that can get by just chunking things with it's non-fire Physical moves, and then gets a monster STAB move very early in Fire Blast.
It's boring and straight forward, is the real problem.
