Johto is still fine until after you leave Olivine and Sinnoh is still bearable until you leave Pastoria, but I gotta agree on the rest.

DPs last pre-league segment was a fucking chore, from the climax with team galactic to the moment you leave Sunnyshore, shit was fucking slow, tedious and I couldn't force myself to continue with the game for almost three months.

A lot of the complaints I'm seeing here are for the segments that have a lot of Evil Team fighting, where you fight a succession of assholes with one zubat ad-nauseum. I wonder if these opinions would change much if instead there were fewer Evil Team trainers but with larger team sized.
