8 is the only one that’s even remotely okay, 6 and 7 were garbage that get “praised” because all the Pokémon were in it. 5 was a masterpiece and I’m sad we’ll never see that much effort put into a game again.

Gen 7 is 3D so it's easier to get immersed. Doing a scripted story game with tiny sprites and grid maps is the most retarded thing, and no surprise it's the worst selling generation.

Gen 6 was just bland and tedious throughout, gen 7 was okay for one play but thanks to the walls of text I can never see myself going back to it. I can fairly say I had a decently fun time with gen 8. Nothing phenomenal, most of he fun coming from how easy I can build a new mon for online battles, but it's something.

I like a lot of the Pokemon from Gen 6, but they were still shitty games, compared to the previous gens.

Sun and moon were okay. They had the best stories of any pokemon game and are contenders for best region in terms of aesthetic design

How far away are we from a comprehensive hack of 3ds games?
I know drey made one of his hacks for ORAS but that's the only thing I've seen, and that's basically only pointer and integer value changes
