>>44239213There was nothing wrong with the hoenn dex tho, it had enough pokemon to have a reasonable variety in every location, and there was a good amount of every type except maybe ice, but hoenn having barely any ice types isn't that bad, and all of this was expanded in ORAS when they added the new evolutions. Just because you don't like the designs doesn't mean 200 or so isn't enough variety, there doesn't need to be 20+ pokemon of every fucking type, offering at least 3 or more separate lines for every type is enough, so long as it doesn't include the starter. if you refuse to use any of the options your given due to personal taste that's your fault and means you're gonna have to suck it up and go without that type
