Entry Hazards were a mistake. Instead they should have introduced more moves like Pursuit. We are going backwards, not forwards.

OP, instead there should be a universal switching health penalty (that doesn't kill). Then we take away the type application of stealth rock and reduce spikes to one layer. There solved.

Factual statement: entry hazards are a good thing, but stealth rocks should either do typeless damage or only do extra damage to mons that are immune to ground.
