You know, Gen V was really weird in how it handles exclusives. Sawk/Throh, Blue/Red Basculin, and Cottonee/Petlil are all KINDA version exclusives, but there's a way to get the first two in the wild in the game (just rarely) and the other has a nice in-game trade. This leaves Gothita/Solosis, Vullby/Rufflet, and certain legandaries as the exclusives. Before the post game, at least, but I don't count that because practically no one adds new members to their team in the post game.

That's always been a thing. Red and Blue did a similar thing with Nidoran, with one gender being far more common than the other depending on the version.

And before that, we need to get Let's Go Johto, gen 9, Sinnoh remakes, gen 10, Let's Go Hoenn, gen 11, Let's Go Sinnoh, gen 11, and finally gen 5 remakes, which will be Let's Go.

Hopefully if they remake gen V. The real reason I'd hoped we'd get gen 4 remakes soon was so that we could be closer to gen v remakes

What I hate about U Necrozma is that it doesn't even look complete. It looks like half its body is missing so it just replaced it with light. Imagine a person with only the front half of their skeleton. That's what basically comes to mind when I see Necrozma.

In a way I feel like that's the best way to handle version exclusives, making only a few hard set on a version, while most are obtainable, just not as common. Then again, I'm a unovabortion, this method was my introduction to version exclusives. Is there a gen that does the exact opposite?

I understand but that doesn't make it look anymore complete. Hell, people originally assumed Necrozma's entire body was just a head and a pair of arms, not a full dragon.

Necrozma doesn't require Solgaleo and Lunala to return to it's true form. They are just a suitable source of Z Power to enable it to do so.

Isn't the lore that the Ultra people 'stole part of Necrozma's body' or something? So it can reform its body with light energy but not fill in the stolen armor. Ultra form feels scrambled as is, with its legs and hands swapped in a way that loos really weird.

What's know is that there are multiple Cosmogs born in Ultra Megalopolis, which can rise into multiple Solgaleos or Lunalas. However, Necrozma is only one individual and wants to hunt the other legendaries to get their lights and survive.
