Really depends. Hopefully it gets a better move set than regular Moltres, and hopefully it gets at least 100 base speed. It’s probably just going to be a glass cannon either way tho

Regular Zapdos resists both it's STABs so unless it gets some curveball like Stone Edge it will be walled pretty hard.

Bolt Beak would be amazing on it even without STAB. Most walls aren't capable of switching into Thunderous Kick, getting their defense dropped, and taking a Bolt Beak afterwards.

If they just need a bunch of signature moves, I could see Ice Burn and Fiery Dance being given to the other two. G-Articuno already has a status theme going on, and G-Moltres makes me think of a flamenco dancer.

Regular Moltres is dumb because its best move is Hurricane, which is best used on a rain team ,but that weakens the power of its fire moves. And if you stick it on a sun team, sun makes hurricane even less accurate than it already it. Only really niche left is using it as a wall since Pressure is a nice ability on stall teams and Fire/Flying as a lot of resistances, but that's the most boring and stupid use of Moltres since nearly everyone hates stall. Not mention if you're playing Doubles, Moltres is almost completely outclassed by Heatran as a defensive fire type, and by Charizard Y if you're playing an older meta where megas are available. Moltres is just bad all around, it really needs a buff.

It doesn't seem like a big change, but they really made it count where it matters. The curved beak gives it a bird of prey look so it looks less like a stork, and the pale blue eyes contrast strongly with the black and blue body, where Moltres' normal eyes didn't leave this kind of impression. And the color scheme is just delicious edginess as befits a dark type. They did a great job with it.

Flying type has been reserved for pokemon that fly using air related means, and non-flying flying types all have to do with manipulating air. (The one (1) exeption being dotrio, but she shouldn't be flying, she is genuinly mistyped.) The Galar Birds all float, execpt Zapdos eho can't fly well.

Anon, flying type magic is themed around air, just you know the type aren't always litteral right (look at dragon)? Multple pokemon that can fly aren't flying, because they all fly though shit not based of air, minus flygon because, flygon has more prominate traits.

Fishious Rend could have been given to any other fish Pokemon, and it's not. Bolt Beak could have been given to any bird Pokemon, and it's not. Those moves are OP because they are exclusive to 2 Pokemon each: two fossil Pokemon. And nothing else can learn them. When GF makes an OP move, it does so because it has limited distribution. Moves that have significantly larger distribution are much weaker. Hell, GF nerfed Toxic's distribution this gen.
