Is Pokken a good game? You know its not made by Gamefreak when Charizard isn't playable. Pic related are guaranteed the characters who would make it if Gamefreak made Pokken.

Pokken's great from a competitive perspective: The roster is extremely well balanced to where virtually every character is viable in top level play; their playstyles are varied, the game has a lot of unique mechanics which reward strong fundamentals, neutral, and adaption, etc.

As a casual title, it sort of sucks, as there's very little variety in modes and the single player content is basically worthless.
