Anyone else know this feel? I can't be bothered to erase and relearn all of my Pokemon's moves yet casual matches always result in sweeps or ragequits because the average player can't kill Magic Guard Reuniclus.

Yeah. All my friends are casuals, and I mean for the most part I am too. But I'm definitely the only one of us that frequents the internet community, so I always end up with off-hand knowledge. This makes me easily the best out of my friends, but still terrible in an actual competitive situations.

Yeah. I've made so many EVd Pokemon, both manually and passively, but suck enough at competitive I usually lose unless I find someone who didn't ban legends with a non legend team.

I'm like this but I have irl friends who are also like this so it balances out, we train whatever we feel like using however we want to use it and fight. I hope you too one day find some friends like that, it's honestly the best way to play the game.

I did have friends like that but they're boycotting SwSh. I myself only bought a used copy once Volcarona was added back in. I'm pleasantly surprised by the game but the pop-in really is horrendous.

Ah, I never thought about that aspect, sword and shield probably divided a lot of friend groups just by controversy alone, me and my crew all bought it together and played it but found the game boring as crap, now we are going back and playing our first games(FRLG). Maybe you can try doing that with them.

I genuinely like the Pokemon I've got in SwSh and and want to do some battling with them too.
Plus, the older generations have more thorough postgames to scratch the itch when I'm wanting to replay them.
In particular. Gens 1-4 have Stadium 1/Stadium 2/Colosseum/XD/PBR. It's only Gen 6 and beoynd that postgame battling really got neutered
