Basically the outside of Iron Island, as depicted in the anime. Entirely optional area

This would be a postgame city related to the regions from gen 1 to 4. There would also be a large park that you could access to catch pokemons from those generations to help you complete the national dex.

Huge area behind Bill's House in Kanto. Leads to a long path that stretches back nearly to the Indigo Plateau. Post game area.
Features tough battles, Johto 'mons like Sevii, and a few small quests you can do for Bill in exchange for items and rare Pokemon.
Probably forms a sort-of triangle, one part along the coast for a bit and the rest along some cliff faces, with a connecting path that passes through a bit of a forest. Maybe a nice plains area in the center, even. Make full use of FRLG's environment thing, which was great and I loved.
Maybe even another village or two.

I always found it a shame that they put a volcano on cinnabar for once in GS AND introduced slugma but they didn't make a volcano cave. It could even be a small area
