I'd never want this in a mainline game, but for a hack that's purpose is difficulty, then I'm fine with it. That said, the only problem I have with it is that it fucks up team pacing since I'd usually only have one or two of my final team members, at most three, before the first Gym. The sheer number of Pokémon he has ensures that I'd at least need a temporary team member if none of the Pokémon I have yet are good against it.

You're not supposed to just catch 6 Pokemon for your team though. You're meant to catch a bunch and switch them out for new members as you go until you settle on a final team at the end

Renegade Platinum gives you EXP for free (and EV grinding too) once you reach Solaceon
Emerald Kaizo gave out Lucky Eggs like they're candy, and gives infinity free EXP when you reach the League

If you're playing a difficulty hack without any grind assistance, you're playing a shitty hack.

The difficulty took a nosedive after the 3rd gym until the triple battle with Skyla. That battle on challenge mode was pretty hard.
